This is just a quick one. I wanted to show you the poster for our play. Our last performance is tonight. I've been sick since Thursday. I stayed home from school. On Friday I was well enough to go to school and perform than we all went to one of the girl's houses and hung out late. So my ears are plugged and I'm sneezing and my voice is a bit scratchy. My also had the worst headache ever from Thursday until Saturday, but luckily that's over now. (Although my voice is better today.) I'll write more later on this week, hopefully when I am feeling better! 2 weeks until my Euro Tour BAHHHH! OH and random fact of the day I've been waking up at 5 am every day since Wednesday. I have no idea why, but after that I can't really sleep. So this is the first time I've been sick here in Germany, not bad considering how long I've been here.
Take care!!
The title of this blog are some lyrics from a song that really should be in our play, but isn't. Sweet eh?? Here's the whole song. The most famous version is by Lynn Anderson. Enjoy and feel free to sing a long. =)
I beg your pardon,
I never promised you a rose garden.
Along with the sunshine,
There's gotta be a little rain sometimes.
When you take, you gotta give, so live and let live,
Or let go.
I beg your pardon,
I never promised you a rose garden.
I could promise you things like big diamond rings,
But you don't find roses growin' on stalks of clover.
So you better think it over.
Well, if sweet-talkin' you could make it come true,
I would give you the world right now on a silver platter,
But what would it matter?
So smile for a while and let's be jolly:
Love shouldn't be so melancholy.
Come along and share the good times while we can.
I beg your pardon,
I never promised you a rose garden.
Along with the sunshine,
There's gotta be a little rain sometimes.
Instrumental break.
I beg your pardon,
I never promised you a rose garden.
I could sing you a tune or promise you the moon,
But if that's what it takes to hold you,
I'd just as soon let you go,
but there's one thing I want you to know.
You better look before you leap,
still waters run deep,
And there won't always be someone there to pull you out,
And you know what I'm talkin' about.
So smile for a while and let's be jolly:
Love shouldn't be so melancholy.
Come along and share the good times while we can.
I beg your pardon,
I never promised you a rose garden.
Along with the sunshine,
There's gotta be a little rain sometimes.
To fade.

Bummer that you've been sick and I hope you get feeling better very soon. I hope it didn't affect your play performance but I'm sure having a headache didn't make it easy. Now you'll speak German with and English accent and a sexy low voice!
We confirmed Steffi's acceptance into U of L for next year so as long as her final grades are acceptable, she'll be there. Teddi is signed up for Prism at Mill Creek for the summer and today Steff is meeting with Calley about a job at camp - it would be nice if she could get a paying position.
Julilla did a video letter for the bunnie hug which was cute - hope she can send it to you.
Get well,
Faye
Quick, post another blog; I can't get that song out of my head! TEE HEE
